USG is making a few changes to benefits for 2018 – as well as introducing new tools to help you better manage your benefits. Explore Your 2018 Benefits . What Happens If I Don’t Make Changes?
If you don’t enroll in or make changes to your benefits during Open Enrollment, your current benefit elections will remain the same for 2018. Keep in mind that even if you don’t make changes, the plans change every year. The tobacco surcharge will remain at $75 monthly in addition to the cost for medical insurance and applies to employees and dependents age 18 and over. Employees are encouraged to login to the new OneUSG Connect- Benefits website to view their benefits and update their beneficiaries.
If you do not want to make any changes or new elections for 2018, your current coverage will remain for 2018 (with the exception of the FSA’s—you must elect these each year in order to continue your participation).
