Retirement Strategies for Women

Please join the Benefits Department and Eden Schwallier, Financial Advisor with VALIC for an educational session focusing on Retirement Strategies for Women and the financial hurdles specific to women as they plan and invest for the future. This seminar emphasizes the importance of having a personal plan, a sound strategy and a consistent approach to saving. It provides information to help women of all ages accumulate the money they’ll need for a financially secure retirement.

Workshops will be offered at the Main Campus (Downtown) and at the Clarkston Campus. Registration is required and seating is limited for each workshop.  Please click on the icons below to register for the workshop at the location that you will attend.  A WebEx link will also be emailed to eligible employees that may not be able to attend in person.

For All Employees 

In this seminar, you will learn about: 

  • Retirement challenges specific to women
  • The cost of retirement
  • Sources of retirement income

Workbooks will be provided that includes a financial analysis questionnaire and a savings and spending plan worksheet.

Light snacks and beverages will be served.
