Wellness Wednesdays

Join the EDWS team and learn more about how to improve your health!!  Training workshops are provided in person and online for your convenience.  We cover a wide variety of topics from fitness and nutrition to stress management.

First Thursdays

This is a special program coordinated with collaborative campus partners offering monthly health consultations & screenings including blood pressure, blood sugar, and BMI.

Take Action Tuesdays

Stop by the Wellness Center to register and get information on a variety of health and fitness programs.

Wellness on Wheels

EDWS has expanded Wellness on Wheels to provide a variety of outreach services on a regular basis at all 6 Georgia State campuses.

Health Coaching

Want to learn more or make changes that will affect your overall health?  EDWS offers individual health coaching services including nutrition and physical activity consultations, fitness assessments, and health screenings to help you along your journey.

Tobacco Cessation Programs

EDWS offers a variety of tobacco cessation campus programs free of charge to active employees, dependents and retirees.

Yoga Class

EDWS sponsors a series of Yoga Classes for Georgia State University faculty, staff, retirees, dependents & students.

Massage Services

Chair and table massages are available to individuals and departments on campus by appointment only.

Guided Meditation

EDWS is proud to sponsor a Guided Meditation class at Georgia State that focuses on mindfulness, relaxation and stress management. Meditating on your own requires some effort, while guided meditation helps walk you through the entire session one step at a time. The class is scheduled on the last Friday of each month.

Weight Watchers

Georgia State co-sponsors the At Work weekly program conveniently offered on campus!

Fun Fitness Fridays

Want to get away from your desk and get active? EDWS offers a fitness class every Friday of the month (except the last Friday), with the theme changing every month.
